Our names are Aaron Somjai Richards and Adam Somjit Richards. We are two brothers who founded this nonprofit organization. Ever since a young age, we have both been involved in sports. Soccer was our first sport, then taekwondo, and then finally basketball. We have spent the majority of our time in basketball as it has been a beneficial part in our lives in bonding and making connections with others. This is why we want to introduce this opportunity to those who may not have it. Basketball is more than just a sport, it is a craft that teaches valuable aspects of life such as teamwork, determination, communication, and promotes healthy exercise.

Somjit Somjai Foundation was founded in January of 2023, based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Somjit Somjai Foundation is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization that was founded to provide youth with the opportunity to learn and participate in the sport of basketball by providing equipment and instructions.
We provide to different locations, as needed, with basketball hoops and basketball equipments necessary to play the game of basketball. We also provide a basic basketball rulebook for those who are brand new to the game and need basic instructions.
Your support and contributions will go toward purchasing equipments and will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission. Thank you for your support!
